Myanmar Cyclone Nargis Relief
The death toll in Myanmar soared above 22,000 on Tuesday with more than 41,000 missing and up to 1 million people possibly homeless after Cyclone Nargis hit the Southeast Asian nation, also known as Burma, early Saturday.
According to state radio, this is the country’s deadliest storm on record.

GO&D is helping equip a small mission team from Taft Avenue Community Church in Orange, CA, on their way to Myanmar on Thursday, with water purifying tablets and water filter bottles. GO&D is also planning to send $1 million worth of pharmaceuticals to Myanmar. The package will include anti-malarial and de-worming medications. We are also planning to follow up with 40’ ocean containers of relief materials, medical supplies, and food, but we need your help!
