GO&D International Projects: Tajikistan
Strategically located in one of the world’s developing regions, GO&D has been at work aiding the people of Tajikistan and the surrounding region for over ten years.
Specifically, GO&D has placed a Regional Representative ‘in-country’ during that time to understand and respond to the needs of the people.
In past years:
- GO&D has helped to promote, supply and fund micro-enterprise
businesses to help local people to self-sufficiency. Provisions
of office supplies, baking equipment and cookware, as well as
humanitarian aid, have brought relief and hope to desperate
people.
Two years ago in cooperation with Compassion Radio - Norm and
Chery Nelson:
- GO&D commissioned its latest representative, Rev. Choi Yun
Seop, a twenty-plus year Pastor Missionary in the region, to
lead its work. Through his efforts, our aid has reached into
neighboring Afghanistan.
- GO&D cooperated to bring school supplies and hygiene
to over 3000 children.
In the past year:
- Four containers, containing $750,000 of relief aid: medical
supplies, food and clothing, have been received in the area.
Much of the aid is earmarked to our newest project, the creation
of a medical clinic in the Afghani capital of Kabul.

Your help, in these crucial days of opportunity, can make this
needed provision become a reality! A gift of $50.00 will provide
sufficient medical supplies to treat five Afghan families in the
new clinic. |
